Treasure Trail started in 2019 as a spreadsheet: three friends in Austin logging the real weight, real polling rate and real battery life of every mouse and keyboard we could get our hands on, because the spec sheets kept lying. The spreadsheet became a blog, the blog became a showroom, and the showroom became this store.

We still keep the spreadsheet. Before a product page goes live, a unit from our stock goes on the scale, on the scope and on the bench. When a number comes from the manufacturer and we have not checked it, the page says so.
